And now for my project!

My husband and I are going to Disneyland next month so I decided to make a Project Life page! Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is one of our favorite rides/games. We... well I.. am super competitive and yet he beats me like 90% of the time! Grrr! Hopefully I will have some WINS to document!

Here is a close up of Buzz! Isn't he awesome!?! He is one of the files you get for completing the hop.

Its hard to tell but there is a clear acetate helmet on him.. you can kind of see more in this side view..

Here is a look at the title. The title and the astro blaster are both EVENT FREEBIES so you have to go to the event on facebook to download them.

Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge: Father's Day!

Hi Everyone! Its Jaded Blossom challenge day!! 

This months challenge is to create anything for Father's Day! 

Here is what I created for my dad. I freaking LOVE this new Remote Control nugget slider box from SVG Cutting Files!! This will be PERFECT for my dad. Growing up he was always in control of the remote and constantly flipping channels. I have since taken on that role in my own home, haha.

Jaded Blossom's Journal Calendar stamps worked PERFECTLY for this remove. I used the arrows and numbers. Play is from Jaded Blossom's Picture This stamp set. 

Here is a side view. 

It fits 8 hershey nuggets perfectly! For my nuggets I used Jaded Blossom's Candy Wrap Dies, Candy Wrap Stamps and Father's Day.

And here is what I used! I used both the new dies, plus Picture this and Flag Dies

I LOVE how clean this card came out. I embossed the sentiments using black embossing powder to really help it stand out. The center of the flower I covered light blue paper in the washi tape so it would match. Here is a close up.. I also added sequins randomly on top the washi tape

And here is the second card I made. The sentiment is from Lucky Treats and I again embossed it on the Flag Dies.

Girly Girl Birthday Blog Hop for CANDACE!!

Hi Everyone, Today we are Celebrating our Candace Z. 30th Birthday.  HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANDACE!!!! I hope your having an awesome one so far!!! As you know she is one of our newest design team members, so what better way to celebrate her Birthday right!  Now if your here from Michelle's Blog then you're in the right place, if not then you may want to start at the very beginning.  Don't worry I have the whole line up at the end of this post. Let the Fun Begin and don't forget to stop by the Birthday Girl's Blog and Greet Her a Big Happy Birthday.
Candace's favorite colors are Pink, Purple and Aqua so of course I had to focus on that. I made her a Purse shape card! This card NEW from SVG Cutting Files. I used pearls on the handle to really make it stand out.

I stamped Happy Birthday on Jaded Blossoms flag dies and layered them.

Here is a close up of the aqua flowers and pearls on the handle. 

And this is how the purse opens. I used a adhesive fastener tab from Tombow to keep the purse closed

This is a save the date card for the annual JDRF walk at our state capital. My nephew has type 1 diabetes. We walked last year to raise awareness and just got the date for this years walk.
