I LOVE LOVE these dies! These card layer dies are going to make it sooo easy AND you won't waste your pretty papers! NO scraps.. Seriously.. Before I show you my project- HERE are my scraps! These are the scraps from the Card Layer Dies and I used the Card Mat die as well. Also all the red and dark brown cardstock used in my projects was exactly a 1/2 sheet of 8.5x11 paper. So again no wasted paper.

And here is my project! I was able to make 4 cards and 1 treat using all the different layers from the card layer dies. I also used the new Alpha dies (LOVE) for Merry.

From Jaded Blossom I also used the Ric Rac topper die, Christmas Candies, Alphabet Dies 2, Merry & Bright, Card Mat Dies, Card Layer Dies 1 and 2, Hello Deer, Christmas Dies 1 and 2,  and the Label Shape Dies

Best of all.. you can use this exact layout and just change the theme to anything! Coffee, Birthday, Thank you etc! So many options with these new dies.

Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge: Christmas in July!

Hi everyone! It's the first sunday of the month! And that means its CHALLENGE DAY over at Jaded Blossom!

This month's challenge is ANYTHING CHRISTMAS in keeping with our Christmas in July challenge.

Merry Christmas is from Christmas Candies and I also used a candy charm from Candy Charms & Banners.

Christmas Treats!

Hi Everyone! Merry Christmas Eve! I wanted to share some treats I made for my co-workers!

These first ones I made are pinwheel wands! I got the awesome idea from my Partner in Crime, Michelle. You can see her's here..

Anyways, here are mine! I filled the wands with skittles. 

I used Echo Park paper "Dots & Stripes" 

And for the centers I used Jaded Blossom's "Christmas Candies". 

And then of course I couldnt leave out my hubby's coworkers! So they got these test tube treats! They are filled with Mini M&M's. 

And once again I used Echo Park Dots & Stripes and the same stamp from Jaded Blossom's "Christmas Candies". Then I tied it all up with tulle and twine!

Kawaii Christmas

Hi Everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today is my day for the SVG Cutting Files blog!

 

I'm so excited to share with you my project for today! This Kawaii Christmas Ornament (along with a couple other Kawaii Christmas items) will be released FRIDAY over at SVG Cutting Files!!! 

I LOVE how it turned out!! I also used Jaded Blosom Fancy Topper Die, Christmas Candies and Winter Wishes. Along with the 3x4 inch clear bags that the kisses are in.

I wanted to go a different direction without the usual bright red and green colors so I focused on sea foam green and a coral red. 

Oh and did you notice the basket filled INSIDE my 3x4 inch bag? LOVE it!! So not only does it help fill up the bags so you dont use as many kisses BUT it also helps keep the kisses facing forward so you can see the stamp on the bottom!

Jaded Blossom Stamp Release Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's October Release Blog Hop.  I just love this Release!!  Now if your here from Jaded Blossom then your in the right place, if your just passing thru start at the beginning because you don't wanna miss anything!!  I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

And here is my project!! Tic Tac Wraps!!

These are perfect for craft fairs, co workers, stocking stuffers etc!!

I used the Fancy Topper Die for the wrap, Winter Wishes and Winter Candies for the snowman and Christmas Wishes and Christmas Candies for the reindeer one. I also dressed it up with trendy twine!

Now I know your dying to know how to make these right?
Good news, I have a tutorial for you!!

Step 1: Cut out your fancy topper die and insert.
Step 2: Score! I lined the middle of my topper die on the 5 on my score board and scored just under 1/2 an inch on both sides.

Step 3: Trim your insert. I lined my insert up along the lines on my paper cutter and trimmed off 1/4th an inch.

Step 4: Decorate your insert! I stamped the deer from Christmas Wishes. I also stamped the circle from Christmas Candies and I punched it out with a 3/4 inch circle punch. I also punched out a 1 inch scallop circle, did some inking and added some Trendy Twine!

Step 5: Add Adhesive to the back and side your tic tacs and add them to your scored and folded wrap

Step 6: Add pop dots to the back of your decorated piece. Make sure to leave room in the middle for twine or ribbon. Your going to end up tying that in a bow to keep it closed.

Step 7: Remove pop dots, add it to the front of your tic tac wrap and tie the twine in a bow! 

And then you are all done!! Here is another view..

Additional ideas: Stamp on the back, inside or the spine of the Tic Tac wrap :)

This fancy topper die made these SOOOOOO easy to make! I LOVE this die!!! So what do you think?
