Valentine's!

Yes I know its not even January and I'm already making stuff for Valentines Day! :) I love it because I get to use lots of Pink!

These are M&M Valentines! Inside each one is a fun size M&M pack. The tag is alittle over 3 inches tall. The entire thing is about 4 1/2 inches tall. I crimped the top and bottom. I also used Tulle to tie the tag to the bag. The scallop circle and circle are cut from Storybook. The heart is cut from Sweethearts. I used glimmermist on the light pink heart and "Happy Valentines Day" was stamped using Memento ink. The sentiment comes from the Love Always Pink by Design stamp set.
I sell these for $1.50 each. If your interested in purchasing some you can email me at candacepelfrey@yahoo.com

Panda M&M Sticks! These can also be made with Skittles. The tags are cut from Tags Bags Boxes and more. The Panda is cut from Pagoda and the heart is cut from Create a Critter. The stamp is from Stampin Up "Cute Converse" I believe..

I sell these for $1.50 each as well. If your interested in purchasing some you can email me at candacepelfrey@yahoo.com

Thanks! ~Candace

Merry Christmas + a Christmas Gift!!

Merry Christmas everyone! I wanted to share a project I made for my Niece for Christmas!

First lets start with the present! My Niece always enjoys getting handmade gifts from me so I had to make her something to go along with her other presents! I decided to make her a notepad with index cards in it. The Ice Cream cone is cut from Simply Charmed.

And of course I had to wrap it all cute with a homemade bag! This bag is cut from Wrap it Up. The tag is cut from Winter Frolic. Hello Kitty is from Hello Kitty Greetings, The red background piece is cut from Gypsy Wanderings and the green oval is cut from Storybook. Lots of cartridges used on this project!

Here is a close up of the tag, I used my white pen to add little dots to give the tag alittle something extra.

And a close up of the bag.. I inked the green oval with a silver ink to give it a more Christmasy feel. I also used my I-Rock to add gems to Hello Kitty's outfit. I then used my hot glue gun to add the flowers and leaves.

Thanks for checking it out! I hope my Niece likes it :)

I also made this to correspond with the Cricut Circle challenge. The challenge was to make a Holiday Gift incorporating a tag, a phrase cut from the cricut, the color red, atleast two cricut cuts and some ribbon (I used tulle and ribbon to attach the tag to the bag). Cross your fingers for me! :)

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!

Deck The Halls - Fantabulous Cricut Crawl

Welcome to my blog Paper Crafts by Candace and the third Fantabulous Cricut Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop! The theme of this blog hop is "Deck the Halls". Each Design Team member is creating a project to decorate their homes for the holidays.
If you arrived here from Brenda's blog your in the right place! If not and you would like to start at the begining of the crawl click here.

Now for my project! I decided to make a banner to hang on my door. Let me start by first saying I am a huge Disney fan. At Christmas time my house is decorated with Disney. My Christmas Tree Topper and Christmas skirt are both Mickey & Minnie. Minnie is holding missletoe over Mickey. Also my husband and I have matching Mickey & Minnie stockings. And of course tons of Disney ornaments on our tree :) So I thought it was only fitting that I made my banner Disney themed! I used bakers twine to string my banner on and then dressed it up with alittle tulle.

The letters are cut from Cindy Lou. The backgrounds are both cut from Gypsy wanderings.

The Mickey head is cut from Mickey & Friends and the Santa Hats are cut from Winter Woodlands.

Minnie's bow is also cut from Mickey & Friends. On my Gypsy I flipped one of the santa hats. I think it makes the banner flow better. I also used my I-rock and gems to give my banner alittle bling :)

PRIZE!! I am offering a prize! All you have to do is be a follower and leave a comment with your email address! I am offering some handmade goodies! I will not be taking pictures of them, I want the person who wins them to be surprised with what they receive :)
Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! Your next stop is Cathy!
There will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Deck The Halls" project at FCCB! Thank you for checking out my project, I hope you enjoy the rest of the crawl!

Candyland Birthday Party items

Hi everyone!! I have been very busy between orders and craft fairs! Here are some recent items I did for a candyland themed birthday party. I also made a banner but shipped it off before taking a picture of it.. I was ready for it to leave my house! :)
Here is the Favor Box.. It was cut from Plantain Schoolbook if I remember correctly.. but I know there are other cartridges that have boxes similar to this. The lollipop is cut from Mickey & Friends.
Next up are cupcake toppers! They have a 5 on one side and the lollipop image on the other side. I used my Stampin Up circle and scallop circle punches. Perfect size for this project! I think the 5 was cut from Cindy Lou.
And a close up..

And skittle sticks! I changed up the colors a bit. I didn't want it to be all pink and green. These also match the banner. The candy was cut from Simply Charmed. The background image (purple and white) were cut from Gypsy Wanderings I think and then I stretched the length on them with my Gypsy.

Thanks for stopping by to check them out! ~Candace

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge # 38 Ribbon!

This weeks challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut is to create a project incorporating ribbon. I decided to make a Christmas card using my new Jolly Holidays cricut lite cartridge that I got at Midnight on Black Friday! My husband and I love black friday shopping!
Anyways, I decided to incorporate ribbon my making this reindeers scarf our of ribbon instead of paper. The sentiment is part of a Christmas stamp set from Pink by Design at www.pinkcricut.com. You can't really tell very well in this picture but the reindeer is cut from metallic brown paper. I know I've said this before but I will say it again.. my new slogan is "Just use it". I have all this awesome paper that I never use! So thats what I used the metallic paper :) The border is my favorite Martha Stewart border punch!

30 Days of Gift Making.. Day 7!

Welcome Everyone to day 7 of the 30 Days of Gift Making blog hop!

I decided to make little gift boxes filled with M&M sticks for some of my friends for Christmas. This gift box is cut at 5 1/2 inches from Tags, Bags, Boxes and more.

This tag is also cut from Tags Bags Boxes and More. The snowflakes are cut from Winter Woodlands. I used my new Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on the snowflakes.

Close up of the snowflakes tied to the M&M sticks. I got the bags for the M&M sticks from clearbags.com. They are 1x8 inches. I've been making lots of M&M sticks for Craft Fairs. My husband actually stuffs the M&M's for me and always runs out of yellow's and brown's first. So what do we do with the remaining M&M's? I have him make solid colored sticks knowing I would figure out something for them. Aren't the blue ones just perfect for this project? I like them anyways :)

Thanks for stoping by today! Make sure to check out Martha tomorrow for day 8!

Fabulous Friday and TUTORIAL!!

Hi Everyone! I am very excited to tell you that today I am being featured over at Scrappily Ever After!! Every Friday she will be featuring a different blog and this week its me!! :)
I have a SPECIAL PROJECT for you all! This is my first time making it and I am excited to share it with you!
Christmas Hand Sanitizer Holder
These gifts are perfect for co-workers, teachers, friends etc.. they each hold alittle hand sanitizer. I got mine from Bath and Body works (which they have Christmas scents in stock now!)
And here is a picture of the inside..

TUTORIAL

Cut two pieces of cardstock, one 3x10 and one 6 x 1 1/2.

Score! Score the big piece at 1, 2, 5 1/2 and 6 1/2. Then score the small piece at 1/2, 1 1/2, 4 1/2 and 5 1/2. Then still with the smaller piece, score at 1/4 the opposite direction that you just scored. After you are done scoring, fold along all score lines and cut your small piece to look like mine below...

Punch a hole! I do not have an oval punch from SU so I used my window word punch to punch my hole. I used punched over and over again until my hole was big enough for the hand sanitizer to fit.

Now you will attach your small cardstock to the bigger piece. Glue the bottom tabs of your small cardstock to your bigger piece as pictured below. After its secured to the bottom glue the sides to the back and the front of your holder.

Here is what it looks like all glued together. I also added cardstock to the inside to make it alittle nicer then just plain cardstock.
And now here is what it looks like with the hand sanitizer in it. To keep the hand sanitizer in place I put a small glue dot on the bottom.
Now decorate the cover how ever you would like. I decided to cut a deer from Christmas Solutions. I also added tulle to the top to make it look alittle fancier.

And here is a shot of the side...

Thanks to everyone for visiting my blog and reading my tutorial and a special thanks to Holly for featuring me on her blog today!!

Thanksgiving Craft Fair Items

Here are some pictures of some Thanksgiving stuff I've been working on getting ready for craft fairs. My first one is on the 13th!! So far my most popular item... M&M Sticks. I get tons of questions asking me where I get my bags. They are from http://www.clearbags.com/ and they are 1x8 inches. The toppers are made from Gypsy Wanderings. Instead of ribbon at the top I tie them with Tulle. I like the look of tulle better.

Sour Cream Containers! These are filled with hershey kisses. Again the toppers are make with Gypsy Wanderings and Stamping Solutions. Also the stamp is from Pink by Design stamps which can be purchased at http://www.pinkcricut.com/.

Turkey Poop! This turkey is cut from Create a Critter.
